Sugarhill Gang is Oldest School of all Old Schools

Sugarhill Gang is Oldest School of all Old Schools

If you were not alive in 1979, and in NYC, you just won't understand the impact that Sugarhill Gang had on the ears, throats, and feet of the culture.

You may have heard these songs now, in a retro or historical manner, but they broke through a wall we didn't know existed, and then everyone and everything came tumbling through, for better or worse.

It was a simpler time and everything moved at a slower pace, a thickness that those who only have experienced the digital universe cannot understand.  So for something to so change the world, it had to have a strong punch, a wallop.

In fact, the song, Rapper's Delight was so influential that it was the first commercially successful hip-hop song, I will leave this review at that.  What can I say to make something that changed the world for the better, funny?  I can't.

You should just buy this album, play it so many times you make the vinyl raw and useless, and then buy it again.

You should buy this vinyl and ship it to the National Archives and demand that it be placed between the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution!

You should play this record in the middle of any battle or skirmish or war and watch how it stops the fighting.

Of course, when using our hip hop the hippie the hippie, to the hip hip hop and you don't stop the rock it to the bang bang boogie Bezos Rating Scale, we are going to give this 5 out of 5 Bezos.
